One of the most famous and lasting revolutionary songs is the hymn “The smell of lily flowers and jasmine comes” which the late Mohammad Ali Abraaviz composed at the very beginning of Imam Khomeini’s arrival in Iran and the victory of the Islamic Revolution. The poet of this beautiful song was the late Hamid Sabzevari, and it was arranged by the late Mojtabi Mirzadeh, and its composer was Mohammad Ali Abraaviz, and it was performed by the Kor music group. Then he traveled to Germany and then Canada to continue his studies in the field of behavior. In 1942, after witnessing the martyrdom scene of one of the young revolutionaries near Ark Square, he decided to leave the radio and never returned to that organization and continued his press activities. In the summer of 1357, when he had traveled to England to patent a patent, he learned about the news of the Iranian revolution through television and quickly reached Iran. After consulting the leaders of the revolution, Shahid Beheshti, the supreme leader of the revolution and the late Hashemi, he decided to create works for the revolution. 18 famous hymns and songs composed by him in the early days of the Islamic Revolution, including “Ghario Latakhf”, “The Smell of Lily and Yasman Aide”, “The Architect of the Temple Plan”, “Allah Akbar”, “Symphony of Martyrs’ Square” and “Promised Arrival” ” are.

The late Abraaviz said about the process of making this hymn: When the Imam was in Iraq and even before the noises were raised by writing news in the press, we got the news that the Imam is interested in returning to his homeland. What can you do? Will this exile be broken and the government will be forced to have them in Iran? We started working secretly, so that we would go to this studio at 19:30 at night when the martial law started and come out at 7:30 in the morning. During this time, all musicians and singers entered the studio barefoot so that no one’s feet would be on the floor. Since that studio was in the Armenian neighborhood, these friends cooperated a lot with us until finally the said song was made.
