Amitabh Bachchan goes to court

According to the film reporter of Fars News Agency, quoted by varietyAmitabh Bachchan, the legend of Indian cinema, is playing the lead role in Ribu Dasgupta’s courtroom drama ‘Section 84’.

“Reliance Entertainment” is in charge of producing this film in cooperation with Jio Studio.

The film marks Bachchan and Dasgupta’s third collaboration after the success of the Sony India Entertainment television mini-series Yod in 2014 and the film Te3n in 2016.

“Reliance Entertainment” has recently become active in film distribution and has released Steven Spielberg’s “The Febelman Family” in Indian cinemas.

Director Dasgupta said, “I feel happy, blessed and honored to work with Amitabh Bachchan again and I look forward to it.”

The producer also said: “Mr. Bachchan’s presence in our film is an honor and I am happy to start this adventure with him and Ribo in the film ‘Bakhsh 84’.”

Bachchan’s last film based on the court story dates back to 2016 and Anirudha Roy Chadhauri’s ‘Rosati’.
