According to Fars news agency, Babak Barzoye, a veteran photographer of Iranian cinema, passed away today, Tuesday, August 25, after suffering complications from the disease for a long time.

Babak Barzoye Modares, a photographer, actor and one of the activists in the field of theater and cinema photography, has been in a coma since January 1400 due to a brain complication and was hospitalized in the special care department.

Since the beginning of his photography activities, he has collaborated with directors such as Rasul Malaqlipour, Masoud Kimiaei, Puran Derakhshande and Mehran Madiri. In 1375, Barzoye won the diploma and Crystal Simorgh for the best film photographer for the photography of the film “Journey to Chezabeh” (produced by Rasool Malaqlipour).
