According to Fars News Agency’s theater correspondent, Bahram Jalalipour, a member of the selection committee of the playwriting section of the 27th International Festival of Children and Adolescent Theater, said about the criteria considered and emphasized in this period: That is, attention was paid to playwriting and writing criteria for a special audience group, which is a group of children and adolescents in this event.

He called the number of works submitted to this part of the festival high and said: more than 100 plays were sent to this part of the festival, which shows the passion, enthusiasm and motivation of playwrights, especially artists active in different provinces and cities.

Jalalipour continued: “It seems that in order to maintain the quality of the works, at least in the playwriting section, two professional and general sections should be determined, because in the current situation, many professionals, or at least those who have more experience in playwriting, refuse to enter the competition.” Therefore, the classification of this section can provide space for more professional people to enter.
