Brad Pitt and George Clooney co-star / Studios battle for the film
A serious bidding battle is underway between the studios for a film starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
Theater News Base: Writer, director and producer John Watts is set to star Brad Pitt and George Clooney in front of the camera. The two top actors will also be producers of films produced by their film production companies Plan Plan Entertainment and Smokehouse Pictures.
Achieving the rights to this film will be one of the biggest tenders in Hollywood.
Sony, Linesgate, Apple, Netflix are all vying for the spot. The combination of these two actors with John Watts, the director of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” will definitely be an interesting combination for all these studios. Amazon, Annapurna, Universal, Mojiam and Warner Bros. are also said to be in the lineup.
Watts is set to write, direct and produce this thriller starring Clooney and Pete.
