Deputy President’s Women: Women’s activities are not properly reflected in the media

According to Fars News Agency’s community group; Women in Iran’s society play an influential role in various spheres of activity, but the hostile media and the country’s enemies seek to reverse this importance.

In this regard, the vice presidential office of women and family affairs, following the investigation and pathology of the recent riots and incidents focusing on women, held the first meeting of the Supreme Media Policy Council under the chairmanship of Ansieh Khazali and with the presence of a group of top media professors.

According to this report, Ansieh Khazali, the vice president of this council, referring to the actions of the vice president of women’s affairs, said: Last year, we saw that many women were appointed to important responsibilities and major policies by the president.

The Vice President continued: In many provincial trips, he communicated widely with the people and disadvantaged areas and identified their needs, and in many cases, follow-up and credits have been considered for the provinces.

Khazali stated: Despite all the efforts made in the last year, there was not enough strength in the media sector and the voices of women and their activities were not sufficiently expressive.

Referring to the country’s recent disturbances and incidents, he said: The enemy’s attacks on the country and women have been very extensive and with all their might, and unfortunately, an attempt has been made to convey the distorted and unreal face of Iranian women to the world.
Referring to the importance of the role of the media, the vice president stated: It is necessary to reflect the correct depiction and publicity of women’s activities at the national and international level with the help of the media.

Khazali emphasized: According to the Supreme Leader’s statements, it is necessary to carry out Jihad of explanation and enlightenment and neutralize the enemy’s movements.

In the continuation of the Supreme Policy Council, the dimensions of recent riots and incidents, the role of virtual space, the presentation of a balanced role model for women in society, the appropriate standard definition of hijab, raising awareness, doubts and challenges in the field of women, and developing a comprehensive image of women were discussed.
