Different chat and humor with Sirus Ebrahimzadeh

Cyrus Ebrahimzadeh, who has worked in television, cinema, theater and radio for many years, has not had much presence in the field of acting for some time, and perhaps one of his latest works that can be mentioned is the series “Doctors’ Building”. The artist spoke about his current activities in the field of writing and translating books.
Theater News Base: He also spoke about the Corona invasion and the reasons for his selection, and recounted memories of the memorable “Cactus” as well as artists who are no longer with us.
Sirous Ebrahimzadeh, a veteran artist of our country, is not very good at interviewing, and for this reason, we have seen less interviews with him in the media. But he accepts the interview anyway and says send me the questions.
After receiving the questions in the call again, he states his opinion for the conversation, “People need to laugh these days, they need to be in a good mood, they don’t care what I do, so I want this interview to be humorous and to make them laugh when they read it.” And then he answers our questions with his own order, precision and elegance, along with a humorous tone, as is evident in his works.
What are you doing these days; Are you working with Corona conditions?
– I wake up at six in the morning, put on my slippers behind my back, open one of the windows facing the yard and invite the semi-healthy morning air of the capital inside. Half an hour of Swedish-style exercise … and then I close the window and load it … Then I quickly and quietly have breakfast in the vein (as the old kids say!) Sangak bread above 10 A thousand tomans is love …
Bari … I sit at the table and start with Hafez’s fortune:
“In the morning, he came from the throne.”
On the table are several books and magazines in various fields of art and literature, read and not read, open and half open on the table.
Translate a collection of short plays into English that I have ordered. Early in His Holiness Corona’s sedition, I started work and it is still unfinished …!
Have you been away from TV for a long time? Is there a reason? Is it offered and do you not accept or not?
– After the emergence and invasion of “Corona”, the business market of theater and serialization and … has become stagnant (the word “pen” has stagnated)!
And the other is that I have always worked selectively (the word “underemployment”, “unemployment”)!
Explaining the following image, the actor jokingly stated: “
You have acted in TV series, which are often a kind of humor and have been popular. What is the reason that such works are no longer on TV?
– They should ask themselves … Maybe it can be said “it’s not going to cost them children anymore!” (Do not be offended … I was joking!)
The home theater network has found serious competition with television in the series it produces. Have you been offered this medium?
– Yes it is good … good! The competition of home theater with its non-home type is very serious. But I have never been invited to work. (Please stay with us!)
“Cactus” and “Chef” are one of your most memorable works on TV. About this series that was produced in 1979. If you have a memory and collaborate with Mr. Honarmand.
– Chef was a good series like most of the other works of Mohammad Reza Honarmand and I had a lovely short role in it. But “Cactus” has a long story. This series originated from the series “Octopus”, from the works of Parviz Sayad. May his memory be better and dearer to the companions of the artist Sadegh Bahrami, Ezatullah Navid, Jahangir Forouhar, Nozar Azadi and Parviz Kardan …; Mary Apic, Parviz Sayad and I are alive.
Tell us about the memories of the “Cactus” series.
– One of my old neighbors, who I knew had a pen in his hand and was needy, came to me one day and asked me to tie his hand in a cactus as a lyricist. Listen and obey, I talked to Mohammad Reza Honarmand about this and he agreed that my friend would write a text as an example and give it to us. In less than a week, the author’s friend submitted his writing to Cactus, and it was decided that in the first session of our rehearsal, his text would be read and the opinion of a group of colleagues would be considered. At the meeting, they handed me the text to read to the audience … Do not let your eyes see the bad day when
I opened the textbook and saw that our friend had done whatever he knew was wrong. And he was the only one who did not like “Cactus”.
Corona took many artists from us. Tell us about the veterans who were friends and colleagues with you and mention them if you wish.
– I remember Parviz Pourhosseini, Kambozia Partovi, Genghis Jalilvand, Khosrow Sinaei, Akbar Alemi, Karim Akbari Mobarakeh, Kambiz Darmbakhsh and …. I cherish the other friends, compatriots and world victims of the man-eating instructive corona … that today, instead of being the enemy of the same kind and killing each other, man will be able to overthrow this seemingly petty murderer. Be happy and stay up late!
