10 colorful medals of Iranian karatekas on the first day of the Asian Championships


According to IRNA, the 2021 Asian Karate Championship in all age categories (teenagers, youth, hope and adults) in two categories of kata and committee started today (Saturday) hosted by Almaty, Kazakhstan, and our representatives faced their opponents.

At the end of the first day of the competition, the Iranian catharsis won 3 colorful gold, one silver and one bronze medal. In the committee section, 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals were won so that Iran could reach a total of 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals on the first day.

The results of the Iranian representatives are as follows:

Girl teens solo kata

Sajedeh Jahanshahi, after being in the first place of her group, reached the final and at this stage, she defeated Kluchink from the host country with a score of 24:22 and became the first gold medalist of the Iranian team.

Young girl solo kata

After reaching the final, Melika Ezzati succeeded in beating Seriar Garkrisang from Thailand with a score of 24:54 and became the second gold medalist in Iran.

Young Boys Solo Kata

Amir Hassan Moin al-Dini in the final of the match against Ramadhan Hazel from Indonesia gained a score of 25:20 so that the opponent would win with a score of 25:60 and the representative of Iran would win a silver medal.

Boy youth team kata

In the boys’ team kata, Amir Hassan Moin al-Dini, Abolfazl Sheikh Shojaei and Abolfazl Faramarzpour, who reached the final stage by winning the first place in their group, won the third Iranian gold by defeating the Kuwaiti team. The Iranian youth kata team won the colorful gold medal with a score of 24:42.

Girls Committee

Weight minus 54 kg, Fatemeh Zahra Saeedabadi reached the final by defeating the representatives of Jordan, Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan. Saeedabadi also defeated Jordan Al-Najjar 5-0 in the final and won the gold medal.

Boys Committee

In the weight category of minus 52 kg, Abolfazl Hamdjoo reached the final by defeating opponents from India and Saudi Arabia, and in this stage, Musa Alam defeated a tire from Kuwait with a result of 5: 3 and won the gold medal.

In the -70kg weight class, Ali Mousavi reached the final with two victories over Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait. In the final, Mousavi defeated Hunti Abdullah al-Qahtani of Saudi Arabia to win another gold medal for Iran.

In the over 70kg weight class, Parsa Mohammadi won the first match on the tatami due to the absence of his opponent, and in the second fight he defeated the Kyrgyz representative and became a finalist. In the final, Mohammadi lost 7-1 to Jan Sultan Meyersali of Kazakhstan to win the silver medal.

In the -57kg category, Shahdad Poursoleimani, who lost to Saudi Arabia, qualified for the bronze medal with a 2-1 defeat to Kyrgyzstan’s Kutman Satimklo.

In the weight category of minus 63 kg, Alireza Lafitahpour defeated Hong Kong in the first round and in the second round, he was ahead of his opponent until the last 2 seconds, but due to 4 warnings from Hansuko, he lost to his Jordanian opponent and went to the classification match. Lifitapur lost 4-1 to Kyrgyzstan’s Mikhal Aramalio in the classification bout and lost the bronze medal.

Girls Committee

In the 54kg plus weight class, Maedeh Zare lost to Kyrgyz karatekas and Jordan and qualified for the standings, losing 4-0 to Kyrgyzstan’s Al-Noura Ibrahimova to lose the bronze medal.

In the -47kg category, Romina Khademi lost 4-1 to Jordan Hakorus of Jordan and lost the bronze medal.

Teenage boys solo kata

Ali Hajizadeh, who advanced to the next stage in the second place of the group, defeated the Jordanian representative with a score of 23.68 in the classification match and won the bronze medal.

The convoy of Iranian national karate teams has participated in the 2021 Asian Championship with the title of determination and faith.

The 2021 Asian Karate Championships in all age categories (teenagers, youth, hope and adults) in kata and komite will be held from December 17 to December 1 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
