10 lasting frames in the 40th Fajr Film Festival

According to Fars News Agency, quoting the Fajr Film Festival Public Relations Information Center, 10 films from the treasures of the history of Iranian cinema will be screened in the “Lasting Frames” section of the 40th Fajr Film Festival.

In the “Permanent Frames” section, in addition to showing the works, concept meetings about these films will be held with the performance of “Akbar Nabavi”, a writer and cinema expert.

According to this news, the films “Watchers” (Ebrahim Hatami Kia), “Where is the friend’s house?” (Abbas Kiarostami), “Cow” (Dariush Mehrjoui), “Captain of the Sun” (Nasser Taghvaei), “Eagles” (Samuel Khachikian), “Manuscripts” (Mehrzad Minavi), “Cold Roads” (Masoud Jafari Jozani), “The Last Curtain” (Varooj Karim Masihi), “Niaz” (Alireza Davoudnejad), “Children of Heaven” (Majid Majidi) will be screened at the 40th Festival House (Milad Tower Conference Hall) according to the schedule that will be announced later.

The mentioned works are among the films that have been reviewed and restored in recent years by the National Cinema of Iran and the Farabi Cinema Foundation.
