20% increase in the number of card network transactions compared to last year

According to the monetary and financial news, quoting the public relations of the Central Bank, Davood Mohammadbeigi stated that on Thursday, March 17th of this year, about 250 million card transactions were made: of this number, about 68%, ie a figure of about 168 million transactions belonged to people’s retail purchases, which is an increase of about 20% compared to last year.
Mohammad Beigi reminded: Usually, in the field of dispersion of the expansion of people’s shopping services, statistics are evaluated and examined according to various retail indicators in different businesses. On the other hand, micro-transactions are considered as one of the valuable indicators of business development, which in a way indicates the popularity of people in absentia banking services.
