According to Tejarat News, Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi hosted a group of scientific, cultural, social and sports elites of the country’s visually impaired and blind community on Sunday, on the occasion of International White Cane Day, and sat down with them in a meeting and inquired about their issues and problems.
In this meeting, while congratulating the visually impaired and blind community on this day, the president pointed out the difference between those who are visually impaired and those who have Cordeli and added: “Blind is not someone who does not have eyes, but blind is someone who The eye does not have a heart, it does not distinguish between friend and enemy, and it does not understand the difference between profit and loss.
Ayatollah Raisi stated that there are many people in today’s world who are open-minded, but do not see the truth of oppression and oppression of their own kind, and clarified: What is happening in the world today in terms of oppression and oppression of humanity is the responsibility of those people. The President further praised the hard work of the disabled, especially the elites of the country’s visually impaired and blind society, whose physical handicap did not hinder their progress, and said: What is the duty of you blind and partially sighted elites is to help other people. The country’s disabled community should learn that disability should not only prevent them from progressing, but can be a ground for them to reach the heights of progress in many fields.
Ayatollah Raisi further reminded the responsibility of the country’s administrative and executive organizations in facilitating the activities and providing employment opportunities for the visually impaired and the blind in accordance with the law, while appreciating the measures taken to reduce the problems of this segment of the society, especially in the past 2 years, for further acceleration. He emphasized these measures and said: “It is very gratifying that today the 36,000th housing in this government will be handed over to the dear disabled people.”
While obliging the executive departments and organizations of the country to create jobs suitable for the disabled, especially the visually impaired and the blind, the president emphasized: We hope to see more steps in the field of solving the employment problem of these loved ones, so that in the near future we can proudly announce that a visually impaired person or There are no educated blind people looking for work in the country.
Before the President’s speech, Mrs. Islami, Ph.D. in Science and Hadith, the Hafiz of the Holy Quran and a member of the faculty of Azad University, Mrs. Samira Mahmoudi Khorramabad, a member of the women’s national Golbal team, Mr. Jafari, the CEO of the country’s blind network, and Mr. Dadkhah, an activist in the field of the blind, expressed the issues and the problems of the visually impaired and blind community of the country.
In this meeting, the president symbolically gave the key to a housing unit to a blind couple.
