According to IRNA, the third round of the Asian International Taekwondo Championships in the men’s and women’s groups will be held from October 16 to 17 with the participation of 366 taekwondo fighters from 10 countries: Jordan, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Russia, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and India. Parsian Esteghlal Hotel will be held in Tehran.
Women’s group competitions in the weights of -46, -49, -53, -57, -62, -67, -73 and +73 kg on Sundays and Mondays and men’s group competitions in the weights of -54, -58, -63, -68 , -74, -80, -87 and +87 kg will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The gold, silver and bronze medalists of this event will be awarded 10, 6 and 3.6 points, respectively, in order to increase the Olympic ranking.
