Advisor to Bashar al-Assad: We will respond to the loyalty of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Al-Shabal said in an interview with Russia Today that the Syrian government has succeeded in meeting the basic needs of its citizens.

“The Syrian government is at war and it is natural for it to ask its allies for help,” he said.

Assad’s adviser described Syrian-Iranian relations as very old and historic, saying that Tehran stood by the government and army during the war against Syria.

“Syria will decide who is on its territory and who is not,” he said, adding that Syria would respond to Iran’s loyalty.

Al-Shabal also described the Zionist regime’s attacks on Syrian territory in support of terrorists, saying, “Whenever the situation of terrorists worsens, Israeli aggression also increases.”

In this regard, Rostam Ghasemi, Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus on January 14th.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, especially in the economic field, and the Syrian President stressed the importance of creating new plans in line with the strategic interests of Iran and Syria and the connection of the two countries’ trade sectors.

The talks also explored ways to expand joint ventures in the public and private sectors and encourage joint ventures to promote trade and economic relations between the two countries in all areas.

In this meeting, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran stressed Tehran’s firm position in supporting the stability and resistance of the Syrian people in the face of terrorism and the need to develop cooperation between the two countries in all areas that benefit the friendly Iran-Syria nation. .
