Arrival of Astrazenka vaccine donated from Spain to Iran

According to Fars News Agency’s health group, the head of public relations and information of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education said: the cargo donated by Astrazenka vaccine from Spain in the amount of 2 million and 204 thousand doses arrived at Imam Khomeini Airport this morning (Wednesday). And was delivered to the Ministry of Health at the airport customs.

Announcing this news, Mohammad Hashemi stated: The main purpose of donating this consignment is to vaccinate Afghan citizens in Iran. Of course, it should be noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has started vaccinating Afghan citizens for a long time.

The head of public relations and information of the Ministry of Health added: “So far, about 4 million doses of vaccine have been injected into Afghan citizens in Iran.”
