Asian Karate Championship; 8 Iranian representatives reached the final



According to IRNA; The Asian Karate Championship in all age categories (teenagers, youth, hope and adults) in the kata and komite divisions started this Saturday morning in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and our country’s representatives faced their opponents.

At the end of this morning’s competition, 8 Iranian representatives qualified for the finals and 5 representatives for the match. The final matches will be held from another hour.

The results of the morning shift of the Iranian representatives are as follows:

Young girl solo kata

1- Melika Ezzati from Iran with 23.34 points

2- Chang Xin from Hong Kong with 21.96 points

Melika Ezzati reached the final and will go to the tatami to win the gold medal.

Young Boys Solo Kata

first group:

1- Amir Hassan Moin Al-Dini from Iran with 23.74 points
2- Yardost from Kazakhstan with 22.02 points
3- Hong Ti Eun from South Korea with 22.02
4- Abdul Ghani from UAE with 21.94 points

Amir Hassan Moin al-Dini stood in the first place of the group and will compete for the gold medal.

Boy youth team kata

1- Iran (Amir Hassan Moin Al-Dini, Abolfazl Sheikh Shoaei and Abolfazl Faramarzpour) with 23.54 points
2- Kuwait with 23.34 points
3- Saudi Arabia with 23.12 points

The boys’ youth team kata reached the final stage after winning the first place in the group and will compete against its opponent for the gold medal.

Teenage boys solo kata

1- Akio Zaiko from Indonesia with 23.40 points
2- Ali Hajizadeh from Iran with 22.34 points
3- Pak Yen from Hong Kong with 21.80 points

Ali Hajizadeh also advanced to the next stage by being in the second place of the group and will go on the tatami for the bronze medal.

Girl teens solo kata

1- Sajedeh Jahanshahi from Iran with 23.42 points
2- Leila Nadilma from Indonesia with 23 points
3- Li Negai from Hong Kong with 22.42 points

Sajedeh Jahanshahi reached the final by being the first in her group and will compete for the gold medal.

Boys Committee

In the 52-kg weight category, Abolfazl Hamdjoo reached the final by defeating opponents from India and Saudi Arabia.

In the 57-kg weight category, Shahdad Poursoliman lost to the Saudi representative and went to the qualifying match.

Weight 63-kg, Alireza Lafitahpour defeated Hong Kong in the first round and in the second round, he was ahead of his opponent until the last two seconds, but due to 4 warnings from Hansuko, he lost to his Jordanian opponent and went to the qualifying match.

In the 70-kg weight category, Ali Mousavi advanced to the finals with two victories over Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait.

In the 70 + kg weight category, Parsa Mohammadi won the first match on the tatami due to the absence of his opponent, and in the second fight he defeated the Kyrgyz representative and became a finalist.

Girls Committee

In the 48-kg weight category, Romina Khademi lost to the representative of Kazakhstan and advanced to the qualifying match.

Weight 54-kg, Fatemeh Zahra Saeedabadi reached the final by defeating the representatives of Jordan, Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan.

Weighing in at + 54kg, Maedeh Zarei was defeated by karatekas from Kyrgyzstan and Jordan.

The convoy of Iranian national karate teams has participated in the 2021 Asian Championship with the title of determination and faith.
