Asus unveiled the updated Vivobook S14 and Vivobook S16


It seems that Vivobook S14 and Vivobook S16 laptops Updated with new hardware. The former comes with an Intel/AMD CPU, while the latter is only available in an AMD version.

Asus Vivobook S series of laptops including. It has updated Vivobook S14 and Vivobook S16 with current generation Intel and AMD hardware. The Vivobook S15 is nowhere to be found and the Vivobook 16 seems to have taken its place. But luckily, the Vivobook S14 is still available, and Asus now offers it with Intel and AMD processors. Aspirants can choose between the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H and the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS, but the former will take a while to get their hands on.

The Vivobook S16, on the other hand, is only available with AMD hardware. For unknown reasons, the Intel-powered version of the Vivobook S14 has 16GB of LPDDR5X memory, while the AMD version (including the Vivobook S16) supports 32GB of memory. Both versions come with a 1TB NVMe SSD. However, the Intel version has 2 Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, but the AMD models only have one USB 4.0 port. Other features of Vivobook S16 and Vivobook S14 are as follows: USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, 2x USB3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI, combo audio jack and micro SD card reader.

The Vivobook S14 has a 14-inch 3K 120Hz OLED panel. Similarly, the Vivobook S16 uses a 16-inch 3.2K 120Hz OLED display. Both devices cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and are VESA HDR certified. Likewise, Asus has decided to power both laptops with a 75Wh battery. Finally, the Vivobook S16 weighs 1.5 kg and the Vivobook S14 weighs 1.4 kg.
