Bagheri narrates the conversations in Vienna; If everyone interacts seriously, progress is possible

According to Fars News Agency’s foreign policy group, Ali Bagheri, the senior negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the talks with the P5 + 1 group in Vienna, wrote in a tweet tonight (Wednesday): Intensive talks are underway, both at the expert level and with the senior negotiators. Today I exchanged views with the heads of delegations of Britain, France, Germany, Russia, China and the European Union. Experts continue to work on the texts.
He added: “The last few days have shown that if everyone interacts seriously, there is a possibility of progress.

According to Fars, the senior negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Vienna talks, today met with the negotiators of the three European countries and attended a trilateral meeting with the representatives of China and Russia.

According to Fars, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian today (Wednesday) at the closing ceremony of the meeting of ambassadors and heads of Iranian missions abroad called some of the allegations regarding the existence of extrajudicial demands in the texts proposed by our country’s negotiating team and He said: “These texts are completely based on Barjam and there is nothing super-Barjam in them.” These texts are the result of tens of hours of discussion at the center, and our approach is to completely lift the sanctions on Burjami in the face of the parties’ alleged concerns about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs stated: Currently, two series of texts are being discussed in Vienna; The first text is the result of the first 6 rounds of conversations. At the same time, the other parties have agreed that the new texts proposed by Iran should be on the table, in order to obtain a single concise text from the discussion and combination of all these. Ultimately, this process must lead to the return of the other parties to their obligations.

He also expressed hope that the other side will continue its efforts in good faith and with a view to resolving the issue, and stressed: “We are optimistic that if the other side acts realistically, we can achieve progress in this round of negotiations.”

According to Fars, the seventh round of talks in the new government of Iran (13th government) began on Monday, December 29, with the inaugural meeting of the Joint Commission of Borjam, and it was agreed that a working group to lift sanctions be held on Tuesday, followed by a nuclear working group at the expert level. The Iranian delegation, headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri, presented two documents to the other side on Wednesday night, including the lifting of sanctions and nuclear issues. Following the request of the European side to consult with the capitals, a breather was created in these negotiations and the talks were resumed on Thursday (December 8th) with the opening meeting of the Joint Commission, which is still ongoing in Vienna. On Sunday, a meeting of the third expert working group on executive arrangements was held at the Coburg Hotel. The talks are still ongoing in Vienna.
