Biden snoozing at the opening of the Glasgow Summit + Film

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, US President Joe Biden was taking a nap during the opening speech of the UN Climate Summit before he was apparently woken up by an employee.

Cameras captured images of Biden at the conference, which began Monday evening in Glasgow, UK, with his hands on his chest and his eyes closed. The first time Biden closed his eyes for a few seconds but regained consciousness, but the second time his eyes did not open so quickly.

Biden’s sleepy eyes were closed a second time for 30 seconds before a man came up to him and seemed to be waking him up.

Cyberspace users quickly noticed the US President’s short nap and started mocking him on social media.

The 26th UN Climate Summit kicked off today (Monday) in Glasgow, Scotland, and will host dozens of world leaders.
