“Black Zebra” art for children

According to Fars News Agency, the puppet show “Black Zebra” directed by Sharareh Tayyar will be staged for the first time on the 7th of Azar in the theater and puppet production center of the Children and Adolescents Intellectual Development Center.

This play is an adaptation of the African legend of the same name, written by Barbell Maya, translated by Zahra Vosough Shirayeh and produced for young audiences in 1397.

The play “Black Zebra” talks about accepting differences between beings and respecting them, and confronts the child’s audience with the intellectual challenge of whether apparent differences can determine our relationship with others.

According to this news, strengthening the pillars of moral intelligence “empathy, kindness, conscience”, accepting and respecting the apparent differences of beings and strengthening problem-solving skills, effort and pursuit are among the items that are addressed in the story of this play.

The synopsis of the play reads: One morning the zebra wakes up and realizes that all his white lines have disappeared, he is no longer a zebra and must leave the water hole. But the wise owl has an offer for him and ….

The puppet show “Black Zebra” has won awards such as being selected as the director of the children’s section of the 25th Hamedan International Festival of Children and Adolescents, selected by the judges of the Academy for young audiences and attending the Tehran International Mubarak Festival in 1399.

Accordingly, Saba Ghadimi as the designer and producer of the stage and puppet, as well as the assistant director, Fahimeh Baroutchi, Sharareh Tayyar and Amir Hossein Ensafi as the puppet directors and playwrights, Amir Hossein Ensafi as the poet, composer and performer of music, and Saba Ghadimi as the poster designer. And brochures, have collaborated with this show.

This play, which was commissioned by the Theater and Puppet Theater Production Center of the Center for Intellectual Development, will be performed for 40 minutes at 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 28, 1400, in the park hall of this center, located in Laleh Park, Tehran.
