According to Fars News Agency’s International Service, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said on Friday that NATO is not looking to get involved with Russia, but is ready for that to happen.

According to the news agency «Reuters“Our alliance is a defense one,” Blinken said on the eve of a meeting with NATO foreign ministers. “We are not looking for conflict.”

“But if the conflict escalates, we will be ready for it and we will defend every inch of NATO territory,” he said.

“At midnight, there were reports of an attack on the nuclear power plant,” he said [اوکراین] We observed. “This shows the level of negligence in this war and the importance of ending it and withdrawing Russian forces and engaging in a diplomatic effort in good faith.”

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg also claimed that Russia had destroyed peace in Europe and started a war ahead of a meeting of foreign ministers of the alliance, without mentioning NATO’s moves to escalate tensions in Eastern Europe, especially Ukraine. We have not seen it since World War II to create new realities in continental Europe.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Friday that in response to allegations of a fire at the plant, the Kiev regime intended to incite Russia to accuse it of being a source of radioactive contamination. These allegations show the criminal intentions of the Kiev regime and the loss of control of subversive groups with the participation of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine.

Following the continuing conflict in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelinsky yesterday (Thursday) once again called on NATO members to impose a no-fly zone over the country. However, a White House spokesman rejected the offer, saying such a move would mean firing on Russian planes.
