Mortazavi, stating that the wrong decision of the twelfth government had blocked over 1500 billion tomans of exporters’ resources, said: “Due to government directives and instructions, it was not possible to refund taxes;” However, the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, with a correct understanding of the need to provide the required liquidity to export producers in a timely manner, followed up on this issue with the President and finalized it in the form of a statement from the Vice President for Economic Affairs.

Mortazavi considered the revival of the Trade Development Organization of Iran as the main custodian of foreign trade, stating that this organization now has more power by joining the Export Guarantee Fund of Iran, the International Exhibitions Joint Stock Company of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Office of Export and Import Regulations. “There is hope that the Trade Development Organization of Iran, under the leadership of the new head of this organization, can regain its main position in the field of decision-making and decision-making for Iran’s foreign trade,” he said.
