Boxing Electoral Secretary: Professional licenses of clubs must be obtained before matches

“Jalal Nademi” In an interview with IRNA, in response to the question that there has been talk of a 20-day postponement of the Boxing Federation’s election assembly, he said: “No letter has been sent to the federation in this regard until the end of office hours today (Saturday).”

He added: “As the person in charge of holding the event, I will take the necessary measures to hold the assembly on the announced date (January 7).” Several people from the provinces were following up on this issue today, but this is not new news at the moment.

Regarding the written protest of one of the candidates for the post of President of the Boxing Federation against the illegal presence of three clubs among the voters, Nademi also stated: I have also heard from several sources that two clubs are not licensed and another club is allowed to participate in another field.

He added: “So far, I have held about 20 assemblies and I have seen many of these issues.” Based on this, we have written to the general administrations of the provinces that had teams in the last match of the Boxing Federation (League) to ask for their licenses or licenses. .

Nademi said that the club must have participated in the last match with a professional license, otherwise it will not be able to attend the assembly. Even getting a license after competitions is not acceptable.

The Electoral Assembly of the Boxing Federation is scheduled to be held on January 7, when Ruhollah Hosseini and Hossein Thori are the candidates for the presidency.

In the past few days, before the changes in the head of the federation and also the change of the secretary of the assembly, three clubs entered the assembly by the previous officials, which was met with a written protest by Hosseini.

Of the three clubs, two have received professional licenses in the past month, while the last boxing league match took place last year and by law they are unable to attend and vote.
