According to IRNA, the national adult judo championship (Fajr Cup), which was scheduled to be hosted by West Azerbaijan Province and Urmia from February 16 to 17, was canceled due to the start of the sixth wave of the corona.
Although the necessary coordination had been made for the competition, after the start of the sixth wave of the corona, the heads of the judo delegations of the various provinces asked the federation officials to cancel the competition.
Finally, after examining the current situation in the country and the spread of the virus, the officials of the federation decided to cancel the competitions.
These competitions were the selection of the national men’s judo team.
