Cheap car for 3 to 50 million Tomans following the reduction of currency prices


According to Tejarat News, Saeed Motameni informed about the decreasing trend of car prices in the market and stated: Due to the declining trend of currency prices, car prices in the market have also decreased to some extent.

He stated that the supply of cars to the market by car companies was low, adding: “If the supply of cars by these companies also increased, we would see a significant decrease in car prices in the market due to the decrease in currency prices.”

The head of the union of exhibitors and car sellers, referring to the decrease in the price of domestically produced cars in the market, said: The prices of most domestically produced cars have decreased by 3 to 6 million tomans.

He stated: For example, the price of the 206 Type II car, which was offered in the market some time ago with a price of about 273 million Tomans, has now reached about 267 million Tomans.

The head of the union of car exhibitors and sellers stated: The price of Peugeot Pars has dropped from 281 million Tomans in the market to 277 million Tomans and the price of Pride 111 has dropped from 188 million Tomans to about 185 million Tomans.

Motameni also stated about assembled cars: These cars have also had a price reduction, for example, Jack S5 and Haima cars have each had a price reduction of about 35 million Tomans.

He added: 900 million Toman cars have been reduced in price by almost 35 million Tomans and cars whose price is more than one billion Tomans have been reduced between 40 to 50 billion Tomans.

The chairman of the Union of Exhibitors and Car Dealers said: “In general, a review of car prices in the market shows that domestically produced cars have decreased by about 2% and assembled cars by about 4% in the last two weeks.”

He added: “Despite the decrease in car prices, there is no purchase and most customers are waiting for further reductions in prices due to the decrease in currency prices.”
