According to Fars News Agency’s health group, the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education announced that the spicogen vaccine is approved as the third round of all vaccines available in the country and can be injected at least three months after the second round.
This vaccine can be injected as the first and second dose in the age group of 18 to 50 years and as a booster dose in all people over 18 years old.
Based on the results of the spicogen vaccine booster study, an increase of up to 25 times the concentration of the neutralizing antibody was observed after receiving spicogen as the booster dose. No serious or significant side effects were observed in this study.
Spicogen vaccine production line is the only vaccine production line approved by the European Union (Eu GMP) in Iran and according to the results of the booster study, the appropriate selective spicogen vaccine is used as the booster dose of all corona vaccine platforms in Iran.
This vaccine can be injected as a booster dose in all people over 18 years of age.
