Decent services should be provided to tourists on Nowruz

The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, stating that the provinces should increase their services for Nowruz 1401, said: “We should all help to provide decent services to tourists throughout the year, especially during Nowruz.”

According to IRNA’s report from Aria Heritage, Ali Asghar Shalbafian on Sunday evening in a symposium of tourism deputy with tourism and investment deputies of the provinces, which was held at Laleh Hotel in Tehran, added: “One of the issues to be considered in Nowruz 1401 is supporting touring.” Tourists who travel with the tour will mainly stay in authorized accommodation centers and better services can be provided to these people.

He said: “Each province should prepare a calendar of programs and meetings of its executive headquarters with the aim of providing decent services to tourists.” In addition, a database should be created with the aim of using the experiences of all provincial tourism managers and deputies.

Shalbafian pointed to the role of the media, especially radio and television, in introducing programs, and added: “Communication with the media should be on the agenda of general administrations, and issues such as strict observance of health instructions should be emphasized to tourists through media and radio and television.”

He pointed out: “We should all help to provide decent services to tourists throughout the year, especially on Nowruz, in which the expansion of provinces with a focus on governorates can play an important role in increasing the quality of services.”

The Deputy Minister of Tourism also said about the field of investment: “One of the complaints in investment projects is the provision of temporary licenses, in this regard, the complaints of investors in model tourism areas are justified and need to be corrected.”

Shalbafian continued: “While welcoming investment, it seems that we should review the investment model to witness positive developments in this area and further development and tourism prosperity.”

The Deputy Minister of Tourism added: “Investment is not limited to the construction of residential complexes.” What we need is to look at what facilities and facilities are needed everywhere. We need to assess what tourism facilities we need, and investments in addition to residential complexes can be allocated to recreational and tourism complexes because there is a good return and high capacity for employment in these areas.

He pointed out: Some circulars also need to be revised. Revision of some of these circulars can solve the problems of tourism activists and stakeholders in this field.

The contribution of Iran Tourism Development Company to the prosperity of tourism in the provinces

The CEO of the parent company of Iran Tourism Development and Tourism also said in the meeting: “This company, as one of the arms of the Ministry, its main field of activity is the field of tourism, and joint actions can lead to good results.”

Ruhollah Hosseinzadeh added: “In the field of action, we will have joint cooperation with the Deputy Minister of Tourism, and with your help, the Deputy Ministers of Tourism of the provinces, we intend to develop tourism in each province based on your views.”

Predicting travel increase in Nowruz 1401

The director general of the Office of Domestic Tourism Development also said at the meeting: “Forecasts show that we will face a high volume of travel on Nowruz 1401.”

Seyed Mostafa Fatemi added: “The director general of heritage, culture, tourism and handicrafts in each province is the secretary of the executive staff of travel services and coordination with senior provincial managers such as the governor is very important because this year is a different year and we should make every effort to provide decent services to tourists.” Let’s use it.

Explaining the most important duties and missions of the general administrations and tourism deputies, he stressed the need to provide the most appropriate services to tourists in different provinces and called for comprehensive and complete planning in the executive headquarters of the provincial travel services.

Update investment packages

“One of the issues we are pursuing is facilitating the issuance and issuance of permits,” said the director general of investment, infrastructure and model tourism areas.

Ahmad Tajri added: “Preparing a complete package of tourism opportunities is another measure we have in hand.” Previous investment packages need to be updated, such as the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry and the Ministry of Energy for tourists to use water capacity, which could create new opportunities for investors.

In this meeting, a number of provincial general managers and tourism deputies of the general departments of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts of the provinces also presented their reports and expressed their opinions.
