Documentary by Pegah Ahangrani in 4 foreign festivals



The short documentary “I Try Not to Forget” directed by Pegah Ahangrani entered the competition section of the Hot Ducks, Zagreb Ducks, Lisbon and Las Palmas festivals.

Theater News Base: The short documentary “I Try Not to Forget” directed by Pegah Ahangarani, a joint production of Iranian and Czech cinema, will be in the competition section of four foreign festivals after attending festivals such as IDFA, Busan and a World of Wales.

This short documentary enters the competition section of the 28th Hot Dox Documentary Film Festival from May 28 to 28 (April 28 to May 8) in Toronto and online in Canada, the 18th Zagreb Docs Film Festival, from 14 to April 21 (April 3 to 10) in Croatia, Lisbon Festival May 11 to 10 (May 1 to 10) in Portugal and the 21st Las Palmas Festival May 3 to 10 (April 23 to 30) in the Canary Islands of Spain Is held, has found its way.

“I Try Not to Forget” also participated in the competition section of the 24th Thessaloniki Festival, which was held in Greece from March 10 to 12, 1400 (March 10 to 20).

The film premiered in North America at the 15th Salem Film Festival (SFF), which ran from March 24 to April 3.

The short documentary “I Try Not to Forget” premiered at the IDFA Short Documentary Competition, the world’s largest and most important documentary event.

This 16-minute short documentary is produced by Kaveh Farnam and edited by Farahnaz Sharifi. Also, Athena Eshtiaghi and Mehrshad Malakouti are in charge of composing and sounding this documentary, respectively.

Pegah Ahangrani and Ehsan Abdipour co-wrote the screenplay for “I Try Not to Forget.”
