Palestinian sources report that the military court in the Gaza Strip has issued six death sentences for Israeli spies.

The Gaza Military Court today (Thursday) announced in a statement that it has issued verdicts in several cases involving Israeli spies, Sputnik reported, quoting Fars News Agency.

The Gaza military tribunal noted that the verdicts were issued last September and October, according to which six people were sentenced to death, several others to life imprisonment and a temporary sentence, and another was acquitted. .

The statement said that in order to carry out the tasks assigned to this court to protect the Palestinian community and to confront Israeli spies, a verdict was issued in connection with the mentioned cases.

The Military Court of the Gaza Strip emphasized that in accordance with the principles of the Revolutionary Criminal Procedure Code adopted in 1979, all sentences were processed and judicial guarantees were given to the convicts.

At the end of the statement, it was also stated that if the spy surrenders himself to the judiciary, he will be given a discount in accordance with the law.

A military court in the Gaza Strip also sentenced a spy to death in April.

The Gaza Strip military said in a statement that Defendant B, C, had been cooperating with a foreign intelligence service in violation of Article 144 of the 1979 Palestinian Penal Code.
