Ford said goodbye to Russia

The American company Ford announced in a statement on its website on Tuesday that the car company has suspended its activities in Russia following the crisis in Ukraine.

“Given this situation, we have informed our partners today that we will suspend our operations in Russia until further notice and that this decision will be implemented immediately,” the statement said.

According to the statement, Ford has significantly reduced its production and sales in Russia in recent years.

The company said its operations in Russia were limited to the production and sale of commercial vans through a minority stake in Sollers Ford.

Ford also expressed support for Ukraine in the statement and pledged $ 100,000 in humanitarian aid.
