It should be mentioned that the increase in income from the sale of Mobarake steel in the first half of the year was due to the 14% growth in the company’s sales during this period. Because the sales tonnage of Mobarakeh steel increased from three million and 978 thousand tons in the first 6 months of last year to four million and 535 thousand tons in the first half of this year.

It should also be said that the production amount of the company during this period has reached four million and 421 thousand tons from four million and 48 thousand tons in the first half of last year with a growth of more than 9%.

But it should be said because the growth of the sales volume also increases their cost price. In this way, the total price of sold products of steel products has reached 68 thousand 168 billion tomans from 45 thousand 357 billion tomans in the first half of last year with a growth of more than 50%.

The profitability of steel is on the upward trajectory

As mentioned earlier, the income from the sale of steel and the total price of its products grew with a ratio of more than 50%, and this caused the gross profit of Mobarake Isfahan Steel to rise again. As can be seen in the graph below, in the first 6 months of last year, despite the increase in sales volume due to the increase in production costs and mandated pricing, the profitability of Mobarake Steel was declining.

But in the first 6 months of this year, the page turned; Because the cost of production and income were increasing in proportion, and the same issue made the company’s gross profit from 35 thousand 409 billion tomans in 6 months of 1401 to 55 thousand 357 billion tomans in the first half of this year.

A 2-fold increase in the net profit of steel

Also, the operating profit of Mobarake Steel of Isfahan increased by more than 53% in this period and recorded 51 thousand 285 billion Tomans. But the issue that can be seen in the 6-month financial statements of Foulad Mobarakeh is the company’s non-operating income. Because the non-operating income of Foulad Mobarake increased 29 times in the first 6 months of 1402 compared to the same period last year and reached 9,886 billion tomans.

The same thing caused the net profit of steel to reach 52 thousand 447 billion tomans in the first 6 months of this year from 27 thousand 37 billion tomans in the first half of last year with a jump of about 94%. In this way, it should be said that Foulad Mobarake Isfahan has recognized more than 65 Tomans profit per share in the first 6 months of the year, considering the registered capital of 80 thousand billion Tomans.
