One of the passengers of this flight told Fars reporter: considering that the flight was done at 16:15, we were at the airport from about 14:30, but when there was less than half an hour left in the flight, it was announced in the airport hall that this The flight will arrive at 18:15, while the previous notification was not sent to the passenger via SMS that if it had been done, we would not have arrived at the airport earlier.

The passenger of the Caspian flight added: “Anyway, we waited until 18:15, but around this time, the information of Mehrabad airport announced again that this flight will take place at 20:30.”

The passenger said that the consecutive delays had caused inconvenience and fatigue to the passengers.

He continued: “During this period, most of Caspian Airlines flights were delayed and other passengers were confused, but no matter how much we followed up with the flight officials about the reason for the delays and the reason for not informing before, no one was responsible.”

The passenger of the Tehran-Mashhad flight said: “We finally got on the plane, but about 35 minutes had passed since the flight, when it was announced that the plane had a technical defect and we had to return to Mehrabad.” I said that he said there was a technical defect in one of the engines.

The passenger added: “Finally, the plane landed safely in Mehrabad and we took back our luggage again in Mehrabad at around 21:30. The officials of Caspian Company also announced that the passengers would come to the restaurant for dinner and the flight would be completed in another hour.”

He added: “These incidents caused a number of passengers, who were confused and tired, to cancel the flight with this airline and return home. However, there was no hope that this flight would take place.”

The Caspian passenger said: ‌ A number of passengers had booked a hotel in Mashhad, but the same technical defect and delays caused them not to fly with this company due to fear of flying, and this caused losses for passengers. It is not clear who will compensate for this loss.
