From Qeytariyeh to Seoul; Hope for constructive changes in sports

سیدمحمدپولادگر One of the veteran sports directors of the country, who had been the president of the Taekwondo Federation in Qeytariyeh for five consecutive terms from 1979 to the end of December this year, yesterday (Saturday), with the decree of the Minister of Sports and Youth, donned the championship. The deputy is considered to be the key deputy in this field in sports and plays a decisive role according to the missions it has in relation to the 51 federations and their conditions in different fields.

In fact, the main burden of this ministry is on the deputy for the development of championship sports, and in order to enter this position, many filters must be passed. Poladgar started Taekwondo in 1958 with Shahid Ghorchani in Isfahan and holds eight degrees from the Koki One World Center, a 2nd degree international coaching certificate, national honors and also a national honors refereeing certificate. He started his activity in 1362 as the head of the Taekwondo Board of Markazi Province and Qom Province.

The most important feature of professional and championship sports is the impact on the development of sports, which deals with components such as games and competitive and organized sports to achieve goals and achieve better results and rankings and enjoy direct and indirect benefits. In fact, championship sports, like any other system, need to formulate goals, strategies and operational plans in order to avoid any misguidance and waste of financial and human resources, in addition to gaining awareness, and requires such an important deputy in sports to be managed by someone. Voladgar is a veteran and with more than 20 years of management at the head of the Taekwondo Federation, he achieved a position by evaluating his performance in terms of human resources, organizational structure, finance, innovation and organizational culture management.

One of the most successful actions of Poladgar during his career in Taekwondo was winning the first medal in this field in the history of the Olympics, which was won by Hadi Saei (gold), Yousef Karami (bronze) in Athens in 2004. Beijing and London 2012 also won medals in the disciplines with a solid leg medal. On the other hand, Taekwondo registered the first Olympic medal in the women’s section in its name and the view of Taekwondo changed.

Now, yesterday, after 28 days of uncertainty, the Minister of Sports and Youth appointed Poladgar as the Deputy for the Development of Championship Sports, in order to accelerate his decisions and pave the way for positive and constructive changes in the federations and the general management of the country’s sports; Restore hope and motivation to the great sports community of the country.

An expectation that has crystallized more than ever in the country’s sports community these days.
