German Chancellor talks with Naftali Bennett over Vienna talks – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

German Chancellor Olaf Schultz met with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Wednesday, Mehr news agency reported, quoting Arab 48 news website.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the developments in the Vienna talks and the possibility of signing a new nuclear agreement with Iran, as well as the consequences of the Ukraine crisis.

The German chancellor was also scheduled to pay short trips to Ramallah and Jordan, but his planned trip was cut short due to German efforts to help Ukraine and impose sanctions on Russia.

Schultz’s visit to Tel Aviv came after the German parliament approved a $ 100 billion defense budget in recent days, seeking to expand cooperation with the Zionist regime on drones.

Schultz began his brief trip to Tel Aviv on Tuesday evening, his first trip to the occupied territories since being appointed German chancellor.

The German Chancellor and the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime are also scheduled to meet again today and hold a joint press conference.

Schultz announced that all members of the Zionist regime’s cabinet had agreed to travel to Berlin for government talks. He did not announce the date of the trip.
