Governor: 162 stagnant and semi-stagnant industrial units of Khuzestan were activated
According to IRNA, Sadegh Khalilian announced the allocation of 30,000 billion Rials of facilities to support production on Friday during the operation ceremony of the Ghadir water supply project at the project implementation site and said: the economic growth rate of Khuzestan has doubled in one year from 2.8 percent. It has reached 5.9 percent.
Referring to the 1.3% decrease in the unemployment rate, he added: We are looking to create 60,000 jobs by the end of the year, and 20,000 jobs have been created by August.
The governor of Khuzestan stated: This is while last year a total of 22,000 jobs were created, most of which were realized in the 13th government.
50% increase in non-oil exports in Khuzestan
Khalilian stated that the good measures taken in the framework of the President’s visit to Khuzestan are a sign of success and said: Non-oil exports in Khuzestan have grown by 50%.
He mentioned the operation of the Persian Gulf oil refinery and ancillary industries in Imam Band and added: In the second and third phases of this plan, the operation and production of this factory was tripled.
The governor of Khuzestan stated that the large project of breeding of shrimps in Handijan will be exploited by solving the problem of electricity.
He mentioned the total value of these projects as 100 thousand billion Rials and added: This issue has caused us to witness a great movement in the implementation of projects and increase in production in Khuzestan.
Referring to the construction of nearly 24 health houses and health centers, Khalilian said: The construction of the Khuzestan artists’ house has been completed and 2 culture centers have also been built.
The activation of some road construction projects in Khuzestan after 30 years
Presenting a report on Khuzestan’s road construction projects, Khalilian said: “Some of our main roads, such as Dehdz and Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari, and Behbahan and Kohgiluyeh provinces, were 30 years away when they were approved and activated in the projects approved by the President’s trip.”
He stated that some of these projects were inactive for several years when they were reactivated, adding: Road construction projects that connect us to the eastern provinces of the country are very important.
The governor of Khuzestan stated: The opening and operation of Jarik road between Masjid Suleiman and Izeh reduced the 146-kilometer road to 82 kilometers.
He added: Within four months, this plan was implemented and put into operation in this government, with a split road and infrastructure in Jerik Pass, although we are still working on it in terms of safety and traffic signs.
Khalilian mentioned the inclusion of 10 hospitals in the approvals of the President’s trip and said: Alavi Abadan Hospital has been completed and the elevators in its department are in the process of confirming the standards, after which they will be put into operation in the coming weeks.
He called the Mega ICU of Ahvaz Golestan Hospital unique in the Middle East and added: This department was exploited in this government.
The Governor of Khuzestan, emphasizing the need to inform the people about the achievements, stated that the emergency room of Mader Ramhormoz Hospital has also been prepared.
According to IRNA, President Ayatollah Raisi met with the people of the deprived area of Ahmed Fadaleh on Friday morning during his trip to Khuzestan province, and then put the Ghadir water supply project into operation.
