Heravi: The Iranian team is one head and neck higher than Asian karate

Shahram Heravi In an interview with IRNA on Monday, he said: “We will leave for Kazakhstan on December 15 to take part in the Asian Championships.” The Asian Adult Classification Competition will be held from December 20 for 2 days.

He added: “Unfortunately, the Corona virus became a problem for the Iranian team and did not allow us to participate in the UAE World Championships.” This had a negative effect on the morale of the people, because their presence and pride in the great struggles were lost.

The head coach of the Iranian national karate team stated: We try to send the players in the best condition in terms of morale and technical readiness. Fortunately, we have no injuries and the injury of “Sajjad Ganjzadeh”, who is going to play on the tatami in the team committee, has been eliminated.

“In any case, the World Cup was lost and now we want to be the best in the Asian Championship,” he said. The Asian Games is the last event of 2021, and we are looking for success in it, and then we think of success in the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, so that, as always, we can be the staff of the Iranian sports caravan.

Heravi continued by stating that Iranian karatekas have a high capacity: We want to repeat the past honors in individual and team. Kazakhstan won a bronze medal at the World Championships Committee and Uzbekistan came in fifth, but Iran is one notch above all of Asia.
