According to IRNA; The World Karate Championships in 2021 will be hosted by Dubai in the UAE from November 16 to 15. The Iranian team will participate in this important event in both men’s and women’s divisions in order to continue its good performance in recent years.
The selection competitions of the Iranian men’s team to recognize the individual committee will be held on the 8th of November with the presence of prominent figures.
But the composition of the men’s team committee was determined today (Monday) by “Shahram Heravi”, the head coach of the national karate team, to participate in the UAE World Championships.
Zabihollah Pourshib, Sajjad Ganjzadeh, Ali Asghar Asiabari, Mehdi Khodabakhshi, Saleh Abazari, Keyvan Baban and Mehdi Ashouri are the members of the Iranian men’s team committee.
In the last three rounds of the World Championships, the Iranian men’s team, led by Heravi, won the gold medal of the team committee to set a record. The team committee is the most important part of the World Karate Championships.
