According to IRNA; National Karate team selection competitions in the adult age category to participate in the Asian Championships, Islamic countries and the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games in the women’s section on the 12th and 13th, and in the men’s section on the 14th and 15th of Bahman at the Islamic Azad University. Previously, these competitions were supposed to be held in the boys ‘section in Gilan province and in the girls’ section in Markazi province, but at the request of some coaches and athletes, it was moved to Tehran.
The 2022 Asian Karate Championships will be hosted by Tashkent, Uzbekistan on May 22-25, the 2022 Islamic Games will be hosted by Turkey on 19 and 20 August, and the 2022 Asian Games will be hosted by Hangzhou, China on 20, 21 and 22 September 1401.
