Hotels are ready to receive foreign tourists / 100% vaccination of hotel staff by the end of October

Jamshid Hamzehzadeh, President of the Iranian Hoteliers Association, in an interview with Heritage Aria reporter, expressed his happiness at the re-issuance of visas and tourist arrivals in November, saying: The destinations of foreign tourists traveling to Iran are to specific cities such as Mashhad, Qom, Tabriz, Shiraz, Yazd, Isfahan, and secondarily to Tabriz and Ahvaz, and to return to the figure of 8 million 870 thousand incoming tourists before Corona, “We have serious planning.”

The head of the Iranian Hoteliers Association stated: “After the opening of the borders, we will see the rapid arrival of tourists from Iraq, but attracting European tourists requires more time, given that they are already planning. “Abroad advertising in foreign media and press, cyberspace and the use of internationally renowned bloggers must also be done with program and seriousness.”

The requirement to check the booking confirmation of hotels and other accommodation centers for individual tourists at the border was one of the suggestions made by the head of the Iranian Hoteliers Association.

Hamzehzadeh, referring to the 90% vaccination of hotel employees, added: “The remaining 10% have not been vaccinated for personal reasons, but by the end of October, the employees of the chain hotels have been given an opportunity and if they do not comply, they will be apologized.”

Emphasizing on minimizing the concerns of tourists, the head of the Iranian Hotel Owners Association stated: “All hygienic protocols are observed in hotels to build trust, and heavy costs are spent on the purchase of disinfectants.”

“In recent holidays, the average occupancy rate of hotels has increased from 15 to 25 percent,” he said, noting that domestic tourism should not be neglected alongside foreign tourism.
