According to Tejarat News, “Mahmoud Mahmoudzadeh”, Deputy Minister of Housing and Construction, regarding the latest status of mortgage payments to applicants, added: “So far, about 7,000 mortgage payments have been made by banks, but the speed of payment is not acceptable.”
He announced the consultation with the Central Bank to increase the speed of deposit payment to tenants and said: “We have announced several times that the speed of payments by the banking system should be increased.”
The Deputy Minister of Housing and Construction of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development continued: “Until yesterday, about 1.5 million people registered in the system to receive housing loan loans, and 230,000 people were introduced to the banks from the registration number and completed their documents.” Also, about 7,000 people were able to receive deposit loans from this figure.
Mahmoudzadeh said: “One of our main problems at this stage is the strictness of the banks and guarantees that have reduced the speed of receiving loans for the applicant, for which we hope a solution will be adopted.”
Regarding the possibility of extending the deadline for registration of rental loans, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: “A decision will be made and announced on Saturday at the National Headquarters for Combating Corona to extend the registration period for mortgage loans.”
It is worth mentioning that the registration of mortgage loans has started on June 17th, and all tenants who are eligible to receive housing deposit assistance facilities who have registered in the tem.mrud.ir system are now either waiting for an answer to their inquiry and have been introduced to the banking system.
