Why have not justice dividends been paid yet?

In February of this year, decisions related to the payment of justice dividends in 1999 were made at the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Stock Exchange, and Ehsan Khandouzi, the Minister of Economy, announced at the end of the same meeting: Major corporate meetings were held in the first half of 1994. But the benefits of the holders of justice have not been paid directly or indirectly so far.

He emphasized: The profit of these shares for shareholders who have one million shares is close to one million Tomans. But for those who have shares of 50,000 Tomans, a dividend of about 55,000 Tomans will be paid.

Recently, Mohammad Baghestani, CEO of the Central Depository for Securities, announced the payment of dividends in the third week of March and announced: Last year, due to non-payment of dividends by investable companies, dividends were paid in two stages. But this year, with the cooperation of investable companies, we are trying to receive all the profits at once and pay them in one step.

IRNA’s follow-up shows that despite the continuous follow-up of the Stock Exchange and Securities Organization and the Central Depository Company, eight companies have not yet paid their dividends.

Surveys show that the companies of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries, Iran Telecommunication, Mapna Group and Dashtestan Cement Industries have not paid any amount for justice dividends and Mobarakeh Steel Company of Isfahan, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Khuzestan Steel and Tabriz Oil Refinery are also part of it. They have deposited their dividends in Samat’s account.

This has made it impossible for the central depository company to pay the dividends of the justice shareholders in one step and in full, before the end of the year.
