Shojaei went on to discuss the admission of dental students to universities without a national entrance exam, saying: The Ministry of Health and the experts of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution can be seen.

He continued: The Ministry of Health has provided statistics that more than 16,000 dental students are studying in general, which is equivalent to the annual admission of 2750 dental students, while according to the official inquiry of the assessment organization in 1400 about 1750 dental students in total universities. Government and free were accepted through the national entrance exam. On the other hand, according to the statistics announced by the Ministry of Health, an average of 120 dental students enter the country from abroad annually. This difference of thousands is not justified by any statistics.

Shojaei continued: The Ministry of Health must answer two big questions, firstly, how did this difference of one thousand people enter the dental schools and secondly, if there is a capacity to train students, why is the Ministry of Health so opposed to increasing the admission capacity through Does the national entrance exam resist?

However, the statistics of student seats studying in dental schools show that we have both facilities and capacity, but it seems that this capacity is not for the entrance exam candidates and must be entered from another direction.

He continued: “How is it that when the student admission capacity increases by 10%, which is equivalent to less than 200 people in the 1401 national entrance exam, various excuses are given from the unit to the faculty, but we are surprised to see that at least a thousand people are accepted annually.” .

Hojjatoleslam Shojaei in the end, referring to the approval of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the comprehensive scientific plan of the country, said: “This approval will definitely increase the access of people to dental services and on the other hand will provide entry for many talented students in this field.”
