Colonel Gholamhossein Zeraatkar, the head of the 8th base of the Greater Tehran Public Security Police, in an interview with a disciplinary reporter of Fars News Agency, announced the arrest of the main perpetrator of the beating and wounding of two citizens.

Explaining the details of the above news, Col. Zeraatkar stated: Early last week, we received news about clashes and carts and the destruction of two motorcycles in one of the neighborhoods around Bastan Street. The capital was sent to the announced address, and in the initial inspection and review of the CCTV cameras, it was determined that three occupants of the 206 car, who were former thugs in the capital, were carrying out carjackings and causing panic while they were not in normal conditions.

He added: the thugs then attacked 2 citizens and injured them in the area of ​​injured hands and face and destroyed 2 motorcycles parked in the area and fled the scene.

Colonel Zeraatkar stated that the police investigation was reflected to the judicial authority and an arrest warrant was issued for them. Police were arrested and transferred to the Public Security Police.

The head of the eighth base of the capital’s public security police concluded by stating that the accused was introduced to the prosecutor’s office for judicial proceedings, noting that efforts to arrest the other defendants in this case are on the police agenda.
