Iran has no experience in selling houses in installments

For example, there is an ad on the Instagram page about the installment sale of a new unit with a sauna, swimming pool and gym. In this advertisement, it was announced that the terms of payment are floating and negotiable based on the budget of the individuals. But information about the location of this installment sales unit is not mentioned.

In this regard, the secretary of the Tehran Mass Builders Association told Tejarat News: “Once, installment sales were visible in markets such as cars and gold, but now it has also affected the housing market.”

Ramin Goran Orimi explained to the people in a recommendation: We have not had any experience in selling installment housing in Iran so far. Given that the country is constantly involved in inflation, the sale of housing in installments does not make sense.

He continued: “In these plans, the maker or the buyer of this game is always the loser.” It remains to be seen whether the housing installment sales are complementary plans or not. Usually, most of these designs do not have a specific background. Therefore, one should not trust the purchase of housing in installments.

Installment housing is not reliable

Goran Orimi said: “There are some houses whose location has been determined and located.” However, some builders show applicants a map or a plot of land that the plans are never reliable.

The builder advised people to buy a home with installment terms that is reliable as long as it is part of the mural project and people know which unit belongs to them. Otherwise, buying this type of house will only cause a loss of capital.

According to this report, the stagnant markets of Iran’s economy are witnessing something new every day. After the successive plans of some companies active in the car market, this time installment sales have reached the housing market.

Earlier, Ramin Goran Orimi, secretary of the Association of Mass Housing Builders, said: “People should not buy houses.”
