Introducing 5 new short animations of the expansion center
In 1402, the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental and Animation Cinema registered a contract for the production of 5 short animations that have different themes and atmospheres.
Charso Press: The Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental and Animation Cinema has produced numerous and important short animations in recent years; The works, most of which have been awarded and seen in prestigious international festivals.
Last year, the presence of the animations of the expansion center in the 12th animation festival was significant, and in the closing ceremony, 10 awards were given to the animations produced in the center (Crow, Past, Gray Object, The Greatest Mud Adventure, The Fourth Wall, Hand and Egg, Paradise, 016 and White Whale) and this year, the center is participating in the competition section of the 40th Tehran Short Film Festival with the short animations “Pattik”, “Piano”, “Dejkak” and “Phoenix”.
But in 1402 and in the first six months of the year, the center has registered the production contract for the animations “Traveller”, “Aghosh”, “Jirft”, “Mother” and “Ni”. The spaces of these animations and stories are different.
“Passenger” directed and produced by Mehdi Khormian is about a painter between imagination and reality. He is lost in the spaces and imaginations of painting and is looking for water.
The short animation “Aghoosh” directed and produced by Farnoosh Abedi, a boy does not forget the death of his father.
“Jiraft” directed and produced by Marjan Keshani has a historical theme and cultural heritage, the images of snake and eagle come to life in a clay pot and fight for their survival inside the pot.
“Mother” directed and produced by Narges Fazli is a family-social drama, the story is about the relationship between a mother and a daughter, the mother has disabilities in her legs and uses a wheelchair, the daughter after school until her mother arrives every time for a long time He waits.
“Ni” is directed and produced by Mana Mustajer Haghighi, a melodrama and a free interpretation of Rumi’s poem “Beshnu iz Ni Chun Hakait Kande” which tells the story of a reed, a reed is separated from its reed and a new life is established for it.
