According to Fars News Agency, at the suggestion of the head of the Cinema Organization and by order of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Qomi, head of the Islamic Propaganda Organization, Mohammad Hossein Niroumand, artistic and cinematic advisor to the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Bijan Nobaveh, deputy chairman of the Cultural Commission. Pejman Lashgaripour, Cinema Producer and Representative of the Production Licensing Council, Parviz Sheikh Tadi, Cinema Director, Saeed Mostaghasi, Critic, Writer and Representative of the Production Licensing Council, Reza Shakeri, Director of the Radio and Television Organization, Javad Ramezannejad, Director of Sima Film Center and Soheila Sadeghi New members of the Cinema Licensing Council have been appointed.

The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance also appreciated the efforts of the former members of the Performing Arts Council.

Mohammad Khazaei, stating that cinemas are one of the most important entertainment and cultural centers of the family, said: “Following the request of filmmakers and the investigation of coronary injuries in a meeting we had last night with Mohammad Mehdi Ismaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance to discuss problems in the field of cinema.” It was agreed to help cinemas that are constantly operating.

He continued: “Fortunately, in recent weeks, cinemas have enjoyed a good boom and have been well received by people and families.” This decision has been taken in order to encourage more and prosperity of cinemas and help the disabled theaters, which is conditional on the continuation of their activities.

The head of the cinema organization added that the activities of these centers need to be continuous and uninterrupted: the directors of the cinemas are satisfied with the people’s reception of the films, and this has created a dynamic in the society. We ask the cinematographers to continue their activities along with the implementation of health protocols and we thank them for their efforts.

According to him, some cinemas are facing problems due to low income and inability to afford expenses, etc., for which this little help has been provided.

The head of the cinema organization continued: Cinemas, as an important cultural entertainment for families, should try to attract the audience. We try to show the variety of movies in cinemas and the audience chooses movies based on their interests. Plan to meet all the tastes and interests of the audience.

Khazaei continued: “We should try to make the presence of families in cinemas more continuous and prominent than before.”
