Introducing Ryzen PRO 6000 processors for laptops and business users

Finally Introduction Ryzen PRO 6000 processors with the Zen 3 Plus conundrum were developed by AMD for professional and commercial laptops.

Ryzen PRO 6000 processors include up to 8 16-core cores and boost frequency (up to) 4.9 GHz. This new generation of Raizen mobile chips will be, as we said, for commercial users. In terms of key specifications such as the 6-nanometer Zen 3+ architecture codenamed Rembrandt and RDNA 2 integrated graphics, there is no difference with the non-PRO series.

This series is also divided into two categories H and U. The first series includes 45 and 35 watt (HS) models and there is no difference in clock speed. The U series, however, is limited to 28 watts by default, but they are adjustable in the range of 15 to 30 watts. AMD also offers the Ryzen PRO 5x75U, which will be based on the 7nm Zen 3 architecture and integrated Vega graphics.

Longer battery life and improved performance than the Ryzen PRO 5000 Cezanne series are the highlights of the new family. AMD claims up to 29 hours of battery life when playing video with the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U processor.

This model increases efficiency by up to 10% at 15 watts or 30% at 28 watts. However, the most important update is related to the graphics unit. The Red Team has announced 50 percent more efficiency at 15 watts and up to 110 percent at 28 watts.

Various commercial laptops from HP and Lenovo were also introduced with Ryzen PRO 6000 and Ryzen PRO 5 × 75 processors. These models will be available in the coming weeks, but the exact release date has not been announced. Some of these models were on display at CES 2022, such as the ThinkPad Z, which uses a custom Ryzen 7 PRO 6860Z processor.
