Iranian car production resumed in other countries

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said: “We have sites and production lines in Senegal, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Syria and Iraq, which are gradually being activated and developed.”

“Seyed Reza Fatemi-Amin” today (Monday) in an exclusive interview with IRNA economic reporter, referring to the resumption of foreign car production sites in other countries, added: I mentioned the production cars on the horizon of 1404, in which the launching and development of car production lines abroad is one of the requirements and solutions.

“Last week, the Iran-Khodro production line in Senegal, which had been closed for some time, was reactivated,” he said.

Fatemin Amin said: “Instead of exporting a complete car, which may be limited by some tariff barriers, we can send car parts to countries such as Syria, Iraq, Senegal and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which have no tariff barriers or have less of these problems.”

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade stated: “Also, the produced cars can be sold in the unions of which the mentioned countries are members, and we can have a competitive advantage in those countries.”

He stressed: “Today, the efforts of this ministry in various fields are not to circumvent sanctions, but to neutralize them, and we have good tools for this purpose.”

“Africa has not been discovered for us as a continent with very good potential in different countries,” he said.

He continued: “In this regard, our colleagues in the Trade Development Organization have focused on enumerating the industrial, mining and trade opportunities and capacities of African countries, and although there may be obstacles, they can be overcome.”

According to IRNA, last week, with the extension of the customs exemption convention by the Senegalese government, the necessary measures were taken to reactivate Iran Khodro’s production site in the country called “Saniranato”, and finally led to the production and supply of the Iranian automaker’s products to the Senegal market. شد.

Now, despite international restrictions, ‌ Iran ود Khodro’s efforts to revitalize the site have paid off, as the Senegalese’s cargo has been shipped and Samand Taxi has begun assembly and supply.
