According to IRNA, our national Muaythai national team left for the UAE with a team of 35 male and female athletes to participate in the 2022 World Championship.
The World Muaythai Championships will start tomorrow, Saturday, in Abu Dhabi and will continue until the 15th of Khordad.
In these competitions, athletes from 100 countries compete in two categories: men and women.
The draw and opening ceremony of these battles will be held today, Friday, and the representatives of our country will know their opponents.

Our country’s adult men’s team is led by Morteza Ali Panahi as head coach and Morteza Ezzati as coach.
In the Omid age category, Yousef Soltani is the head coach and Hadi Mohammadzadeh is the coach.
In the women’s section, Tahereh Tanha, the head coach of the adult team, and Mastaneh Seifabadi, the head coach of the Omid team, are in charge. Meanwhile, Zahra Elahi is also present in the technical staff of Omid team as a coach.
The head of our country’s expedition team to these competitions is Mohammad Anjodani.
