According to the General Directorate of Public Relations of the Judiciary, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mohseni Ejei in a meeting with members of the Islamic Council of Tehran, the mayor of the capital and city managers, referring to the philosophy of establishing Islamic councils in cities and villages and its inclusion in the constitution and laws, said. : Maximizing the power, expertise, experience and participation of people in advancing their habitat affairs as well as rapid advancement of social, economic, development, health, cultural, educational and other welfare programs with the participation of people and citizens , The focal point and the main point is the creation and formation of Islamic councils of cities and villages.

The head of the judiciary, listing some of the characteristics that exist for the realization of a desirable metropolis, said: security, tranquility, beauty, improvement of the living environment, development of natural and human capital, promotion of environmental dimensions, ease of movement and meeting the needs of citizens are among the characteristics. Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, referring to the new approach and decisive actions of the judiciary in the field of protection of public rights, said: “The new approach of the judiciary in the field of protection of public rights is promising for the municipality of Tehran and as a special opportunity.”

While appreciating the preventive warnings of the General Inspection Organization to the Municipality of Tehran, he said: The efforts of the Tehran City Administration are to alleviate corruption and in this regard, the Municipality of Tehran is a gift for cooperation, assistance and protection of the judiciary. He also called for the formation of special provincial working groups consisting of members of the city and village Islamic councils and judicial officials to resolve issues and problems before they are taken to the courts.

Mehdi Aghrarian, the head of the Supervision and Legal Commission of the Islamic Council of Tehran, also avoided filing 25,000 cases from the municipalities for the judiciary during the previous periods, pointing out some of the injustices that the municipalities did to the people in various ways in the past.
