According to the public relations of the justice of Semnan province, the meeting of the members of Mahdishahr city council with the director general of justice of Semnan province was held.

In this intimate meeting, the members of the Islamic Council of Mahdishahr discussed some of the existing problems with Mohammad Jafar Abdollahi, the Chief Justice of the province.

In this meeting, the members of the city council expressed the most important concern of the city, the lack of a prosecutor in the city.

The dilapidated building of the Dispute Resolution Council, the high number of cases, the high population of Afghans and the absence of a prosecutor in the city center were some of the things that the members of the city council said.

The Chief Justice of the province also said in this meeting: “Restoring public rights is one of the most important tasks of the judiciary.”

Mohammad Jafar Abdollahi said: the judiciary is doing its best to restore public rights and address the problems of citizens.

He said that the presence of the prosecutor in the city can solve many problems: to transfer the demands of the people of Mahdishahr to the judiciary, we will make the necessary follow-ups and leave the final result to any decision reached by the judiciary.

The Chief Justice of Semnan Province also said: “Everyone must work to eliminate social harms, and in this regard, the role of Islamic councils in cities and villages is more prominent.”

He added: “Islamic councils of cities and villages are the powerful arms of the executive forces of the country and their cooperation will control and reduce social harms in cities.”
